Earl Anthony Wayne (born 1950) is a retired American diplomat. He notably served as U.S. Ambassador to Argentina (2007-2009) and Mexico (2011-2015). Born in Sacramento, California and raised in nearby Concord, Wayne earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley and Master of Arts degrees from Stanford University and Princeton University before entering the Foreign Service in 1975.
